Según Kant, la Ilustración es la salida del ser humano de su autoculpable minoría de edad.

 

 

Michel Foucault:

“¿Qué pasa hoy? ¿Qué pasa ahora?”

 

 

Georges Didi-Huberman: 

“Por eso me interesa poner en conexión las imágenes entre sí a través de un recurso constante a la idea de montaje. Lo importante es poner en relación las imágenes porque ellas no hablan en forma aislada.”

 

 

Fermín Díez de Ulzurrun sintetiza en esta pieza la noción principal de crítica que analizase en su día Immanuel Kant, desarrollase Michel Foucault desde una ontología del presente, y estructurase Georges Didi-Huberman a partir del montaje de imágenes desarrollado por Aby Warburg. Pero el artista vasco realiza en esta ocasión el camino de vuelta, a la inversa, caminando de espaldas, negándose a aceptar el dominio del saber, evidenciando, desde la tachadura con negro, la hegemonía del poder que vivimos en el presente que nos ha tocado vivir.

Georges Didi- Huberman :

"Therefore I would put the images in connection with each other through a constant appeal to the idea of mounting. The important thing is to relate the images because they do not speak in a vacuum.”

 

 

Fermín Díez de Ulzurrun In this piece is synthesized  the main notion of critique analyze by Immanuel Kant and then develop by Michel Foucault from an ontology of the present, structured by Georges Didi -Huberman as a superposition of mounted  images developed by Aby Warburg. However, the Basque artist performs it in the opposite way, walking backwards refusing to accept the domain of knowledge, claiming, from the erasure with black ink, the hegemony of power that we are living with.
